Event photo sharing
How to share event photos with attendees using shoots.page
shoots.page is a client gallery and photo delivery app with 2 GB free and 100 GB for USD 9 a month where attendees open one link with no account or app and browse 60 photos per page.
The easiest way to share event photos with attendees is to upload the finished set to shoots.page and share one unlisted gallery link by email, event page, or QR code. Guests open it in a browser with no account or app, browse 60 photos per page with 2000 px previews, and download single files or one ZIP. You get 2 GB free, or 100 GB for USD 9 a month.
| Option | Price | Storage and file limits | Main catch |
|---|---|---|---|
| shoots.page Free | Free | 2 GB total storage, files up to 1 GiB and 100 megapixels, 60 photos per page | Small shoots.page logo and footer link; no video or print store; attendees cannot upload |
| shoots.page Pro | USD 9 a month or USD 90 a year (EUR 8 or EUR 80 in Europe) | 100 GB total storage (50 times the free plan), files up to 1 GiB and 100 megapixels | No video, print sales, client logo, custom colors, or custom domain; not a backup service |
| Plain file transfer | Varies | Depends on the transfer tool | Recipients cannot browse the photo set in a gallery before downloading |
| Collecting attendee uploads manually | Free | Limited by your own shoots.page storage (2 GB free or 100 GB on Pro) | Attendees cannot upload directly to the gallery, so they have to send you their shots to add |
shoots.page
shoots.page is a client gallery and photo delivery app where you sign in with Google, upload JPEG, PNG, HEIC, TIFF, WebP, or RAW files, and send one unlisted link. Resumable uploads run in 8 MiB parts, so if venue Wi-Fi drops, your upload picks up where it stopped. Only uploaded originals count toward storage. You can generate a PNG or SVG QR code in your browser for slides, table cards, or signage, and email the link straight from the app.
Attendees, organizers, comms teams, and press never pay or create an account. They view a grid of 60 photos per page with 2000 px previews and pull byte-for-byte originals, 2000 px JPEGs, or RAW files one by one or as a ZIP, depending on the per-gallery switches you turn on. You can set an 8 to 256 character password, add an expiry date, use client proofing with favorites, a max-picks count and optional paid extras, and check views, unique visitors, and downloads per gallery and per photo. Free gives you 2 GB and the Classic design; Pro is USD 9 a month or USD 90 a year (EUR 8 or EUR 80 in Europe) for 100 GB and 4 extra designs (Heirloom, Noir, Scrapbook, and Postcard) with no shoots.page branding. It suits event photographers and organizers delivering finished photo sets to guests, marketing teams, and press.
Plain file transfer
A plain file transfer sends a batch of files to a recipient without putting them into a client gallery. When we compared workflows for event delivery, the main difference came down to what happens before someone downloads the files. Unlike a plain file transfer, a shoots.page link lets attendees, organizers, and press contacts browse the set in a thumbnail grid with 2000 px previews before they grab a single photo or pull the whole batch as a ZIP. Plain file transfers suit situations where a single recipient already knows they want every file on their drive without looking through the photos first.
Same-night selection plus a full gallery
On shoots.page, there is no limit on the number of galleries or photos you can create, since only your total account storage (2 GB on Free or 100 GB on Pro) caps what you upload. For event jobs where people are waiting on shots right away, you can pick a small set in the browser right after the event and publish it as its own gallery while interest is hot, then follow up with the full edited set as a second gallery. You can also keep adding photos to an already published gallery and they show up under the same link. It suits photographers covering events where the organizer, social team, or press needs quick selects on the night of the shoot before the full batch is ready.
Collecting attendee shots to add yourself
shoots.page is built for one-way delivery from the photographer or organizer to the recipients, so attendees cannot upload their own photos to a gallery. Only you can add files to your account. If guests take their own photos at the event and you want them in the shared gallery, attendees have to send their best shots to you first, and you upload them into the published gallery so they appear under the same unlisted link. It suits organizers who want a curated event gallery under their studio name without opening up public uploads to every guest in the room.
How we tested event photo delivery
We checked current limits and pricing in October 2026 and walked through the five-step event workflow on shoots.page. You pick your finished files on the homepage, give the gallery a title like the event name and date, and sign in with Google so your files and settings carry through without re-picking. Because uploads split into 8 MiB resumable parts, dropping a connection mid-upload does not force you to start over, and 2000 px previews generate in the background for files up to 1 GiB and 100 megapixels (anything larger has to be removed before publishing).
Once uploaded, you set your access controls: an optional password between 8 and 256 characters, an optional expiry date, and separate download toggles for byte-for-byte originals, 2000 px JPEGs, and RAW files (which deliver as full-size JPEGs unless you also allow RAW downloads). All links are unlisted, marked noindex, and left out of the sitemap. For sharing at the venue, we used the browser-based QR code tool to download a PNG and SVG without uploading data anywhere else.
We also checked how far the storage goes on both plans. Because previews, thumbnails, and the ZIPs clients download do not count toward your quota, a 4 MB average photo size fits 500 in 2 GB free or 25,000 in 100 GB on Pro. At 8 MB per photo, you get 250 in 2 GB free or 12,500 in 100 GB on Pro, and 15 MB files fit 133 in 2 GB free or 6,666 in 100 GB on Pro. When a job is done, deleting delivered galleries frees up your space, though you have to keep your own archive since the app is not a backup service.
FAQ
Can attendees upload their own photos to the gallery?
No, only you can add photos to a shoots.page gallery. You can keep adding files after you publish and they will appear under the same link, so if attendees send you their best shots, you can upload them yourself.
Do attendees need an account or an app to get their photos?
No. Recipients open the unlisted gallery link straight in a web browser and never need an account, an app, or a sign-up.
How many photos fit in one event gallery?
There is no limit on photo count per gallery, only your total account storage of 2 GB on the free plan or 100 GB on Pro. Attendees browse 60 photos per page, and the app generates previews for files up to 1 GiB and 100 megapixels.
Can the gallery link stop working after the event is over?
Yes, you can set an optional expiry date in the gallery settings so the link stops working once that date passes. The photos stay in your account, and you can extend or remove the expiry date anytime to open the link again.
