Coming soon page builders

What is the easiest way to make a free coming soon page?

Heya is a no-code website builder with a $0 free plan for up to 3 sites and 5 pages each, and you start building with no account or credit card.

If you need a coming soon page with a countdown today, Heya is the easiest way to get one online for $0. The free plan includes a Countdown block, all 68 templates, and up to 3 sites with up to 5 pages each on a name.heya.bio address, with no credit card and no account needed until you publish. If you want to remove the small badge or connect a custom domain, paid plans start from $3 a month and from $6 a month.

When you are launching a product, a shop or an event, you rarely need a massive site on day one. You need a logo, a launch date, and a place for people to sign up.

Heya

We recommend Heya for a coming soon page. It is a no-code, block-based builder made for one-page and small sites, and it skips the usual signup wall. You open the editor and start putting your page together without an account, then sign in with Google only when you are ready to publish.

The free plan costs $0 with no credit card. You get up to 3 sites with up to 5 pages each, published on a free name.heya.bio address with HTTPS. Every free site has access to all 68 templates, 42 fonts, 6 embed types, and the Countdown block, and the pages are responsive.

When we put a launch page together on Heya, we started with Pollen, which is a bright landing template, though you can also start from any of the 68 templates or a blank site. A full coming soon page takes a handful of blocks:

  • Your name or logo inside an Image block.
  • One sentence explaining what you are launching and who it is for, plus a contact email in a Text block.
  • Your launch date inside a Countdown block.
  • A Buttons block with one signup button that opens your form, and social icons for the places where you post updates.
  • A teaser, which can be an image, a YouTube or Vimeo clip, or a Spotify track.

You can set an SEO title, description and share image so the link looks right when you share it around. Search engines can find Heya sites by default, or you can turn on the "hide from search engines" setting until launch day. And once launch day arrives, you keep the same address, swap the countdown out for your actual content, add more pages (up to 5 on Free, or up to 20 on paid plans), and turn search engines back on if you hid the page, so nobody has to update a bookmark.

There are limits you should know up front. Free sites carry a small "Made with Heya" badge and cannot use a custom domain. Heya also has no built-in forms on any plan; to collect sign-ups, you add a Buttons block that links out to a Google Form, a Tally form, or the signup page from your newsletter tool. Sites top out at 20 pages even on paid tiers, and downloading your site as an HTML ZIP file is only on Pro Plus.

If you want more than the free tier gives you, Pro Lite is from $3 a month for 3 sites, up to 20 pages per site, no badge, and followed links. Pro Standard is from $6 a month and gives you up to 5 sites, up to 20 pages per site, and 1 custom domain. Pro Plus is from $15 a month for up to 25 sites, up to 10 custom domains, and HTML (ZIP) downloads.

Who it suits: Anyone launching a product, shop or event today who wants to publish a free countdown page in minutes without entering a credit card, and who is fine linking a button to an external Google Form, Tally form or newsletter signup page.

Carrd Pro Standard

Heya's own October 2026 comparison notes point to Carrd Pro Standard for one specific reason: built-in forms. Because Heya does not have built-in forms and handles sign-ups by linking a Buttons block to an outside page, you can't type an email address directly into an input box on a Heya page.

Our October 2026 notes don't list the price or site limits for Carrd Pro Standard, so we won't guess at them here. What matters for a launch page is the form setup.

Who it suits: People who need an embedded signup form directly on the coming soon page itself, rather than a button that opens a Google Form, a Tally form, or a newsletter signup page in a new tab.

FAQ

Is Heya's coming soon page builder free?

Yes. The free plan is $0 with no credit card required, and it gives you up to 3 sites with up to 5 pages each on a name.heya.bio address, including the Countdown block and all 68 templates. Free sites display a small "Made with Heya" badge, which you can remove with Pro Lite from $3 a month.

Is there a coming soon page template on Heya?

You can start with the Pollen template, which is a bright landing template. Any of Heya's 68 templates (or a blank site) works as a coming soon page once you drop in a Countdown block.

Can visitors sign up on the page itself?

No, Heya does not have built-in forms. To collect sign-ups on Heya, you add a Buttons block that opens your Google Form, Tally form, or newsletter signup page, or use a builder with forms like Carrd Pro Standard if you need the form directly on the page.

Can I hide my coming soon page from Google until launch?

Yes. Heya sites are open to search engines by default, but each site has a "hide from search engines" setting that you can turn on until launch and switch back off when you are ready.

Can I use my own custom domain on Heya?

Not on the free plan, which publishes to name.heya.bio with HTTPS. You can connect 1 custom domain on Pro Standard from $6 a month, or up to 10 custom domains on Pro Plus from $15 a month.

Can I download the HTML for my coming soon page?

HTML download as a ZIP file is only available on the Pro Plus plan, which starts from $15 a month. It is not included on the Free, Pro Lite, or Pro Standard plans.
