Photo proofing software
shoots.page photo proofing: clients pick favorites with no account
shoots.page is a client gallery and proofing tool with 2 GB free and 100 GB for USD 9 a month, letting clients submit up to 1,000 picks with no account or app.
For photographers who need clients to pick favorites before editing or ordering, shoots.page is our recommendation. The free plan gives you 2 GB of storage with every delivery and proofing feature included, while Pro costs USD 9 a month (or EUR 8 in Europe) for 100 GB. Clients star up to 1,000 picks directly on the gallery link without creating an account, and each gallery takes up to 200 submissions.
We tested how proofing and delivery run on shoots.page in October 2026. Because the tool runs both on the same link, you can set it up in three ways depending on the job: proofing before you edit, proofing on a finished delivery gallery, or straight delivery with no proofing at all.
| Option | Price | Storage and limits | Main catch |
|---|---|---|---|
| shoots.page (Proof first, then deliver) | Free up to 2 GB; Pro USD 9/mo or USD 90/yr (EUR 8/mo or EUR 80/yr in Europe) | 100 GB on Pro, max picks 1 to 1,000 (25 default), up to 200 submissions per gallery, files up to 1 GiB and 100 MP | No built-in print store or payment processing for extra picks; Free plan has shoots.page branding and 1 design |
| shoots.page (Proofing on the delivery gallery) | Free up to 2 GB; Pro USD 9/mo or USD 90/yr (EUR 8/mo or EUR 80/yr in Europe) | Same 2 GB Free / 100 GB Pro caps, 1 to 1,000 picks, 200 submissions, originals kept byte for byte | Clients download files and pick favorites on the same link, so you must set your download switches carefully |
| shoots.page (Deliver straight) | Free up to 2 GB; Pro USD 9/mo or USD 90/yr (EUR 8/mo or EUR 80/yr in Europe) | Unlimited galleries and photos within your 2 GB or 100 GB cap; previews and ZIPs do not count toward storage | Proofing is turned off, so clients cannot star favorites or submit a list |
shoots.page for proofing first, then delivering
When we tested shoots.page, the first thing that stood out was how little gets in the client's way. You sign in with Google, upload your shoot (it takes JPEG, PNG, HEIC, TIFF, WebP and RAW files up to 1 GiB and 100 megapixels, using resumable uploads), and turn on proofing in the gallery settings.
You set a maximum number of picks between 1 and 1,000 - it defaults to 25, and you can save studio defaults so you don't have to type your numbers on every job, then override them on any single gallery if a shoot is different. If you charge for extra selections beyond the included count, you enter a per-photo price and pick your currency.
Your client opens the link with no app and no account. They browse the thumbnail grid or open the 2000 px previews and click the star on their favorites. A live counter tracks their progress (like "3 of 25 selected"), and if they go over your limit with paid extras turned on, they see a running price total while they work and again before they send the list.
To finish, the client types their name and email and hits submit, or if you generate a personal link for a specific client from the Share gallery menu, it opens straight to their picks and they don't even have to type a name or email. A gallery can take up to 200 separate submissions, so several people can send their own lists on the same job. The moment a client submits, their selection locks so they can't change picks by accident while you're working. If they email you asking to swap a photo, you can reopen their submission in your controls.
On your end, shoots.page emails you when a submission comes in. Under Client selections, you can download just the picked photos as a ZIP, or click Copy filenames and then Copy for Lightroom. Paste that list into the Lightroom Classic Library Filter text search (set to Filename and Contains), and you have the exact selects ready to retouch.
As for the catches: shoots.page does not have a print store or print sales, and it never collects money from your clients. When someone picks paid extras, the gallery shows the math, takes no commission, and leaves you to invoice and settle up with the client yourself. On the Free plan, you get 2 GB of storage, the Classic gallery design, and a small shoots.page logo and footer link. Moving to Pro (USD 9 a month or USD 90 a year before applicable tax; EUR 8 a month or EUR 80 a year in Europe with VAT included) bumps you to 100 GB, removes the branding, and adds four more designs: Heirloom, Noir, Scrapbook and Postcard. Only your uploaded originals count against that 2 GB or 100 GB cap, while the 2000 px previews, thumbnails and client ZIPs are free of storage charges.
This workflow suits weddings, portrait sessions and events where client choices decide what you retouch, print or put into an album.
shoots.page for proofing on the delivery gallery
Sometimes the whole shoot is already included in your fee, and the client gets to download everything right away, plus they need to pick a handful of favorites for a print order, an album layout or deeper retouching.
On shoots.page, proofing runs on the main delivery gallery itself, so you don't have to set up two different links. You leave the download switches on and turn proofing on at the same time. The per-gallery download switches let you control whether clients can grab originals (which are stored byte for byte), 2000 px JPEGs, or RAW files, either as single files or one ZIP.
You can also add an optional password and an expiry date per gallery, email the gallery link straight from the app, and get an email notification when a client opens or downloads the gallery. If you want to see what they looked at before they even send their picks, the app tracks views and downloads per gallery and per photo.
This setup suits shoots where every finished photo is handed over, and the client also stars specific images from the same set for retouching, prints or an album.
shoots.page for delivering straight without proofing
When a job doesn't need client input, you leave proofing off and use shoots.page strictly for delivery. Because proofing is opt-in per gallery, your clients just see a clean gallery with the download options you allowed.
This suits small sets, headshots, commercial brand sessions, fixed briefs, and quick releases like wedding sneak peeks where you deliver the final files in one step.
FAQ
Does my client need an account to submit picks on shoots.page?
No. Clients open your gallery link, look through the 2000 px previews, star their favorites, and submit with just a name and email (or neither if you send them a personal link). They never have to create an account, sign in, or download an app.
Can a client change their favorites after submitting?
Once a client submits their selection, it locks right away so the list cannot shift while you are editing. If they want to swap photos later, you can reopen their submission under Client selections in the gallery settings so they can update their picks.
Who collects the money when a client picks paid extras?
You do. shoots.page displays your per-photo price and a live running total in your chosen currency so the client sees the cost up front, but the app never processes payments and takes no commission. You settle the balance directly with your client using your own payment methods.
Can I deliver final files from the same gallery I used for proofing?
Yes. Proofing and delivery run on the same gallery link on shoots.page, so client picks and final high-resolution downloads stay in one place.
Can I use different proofing limits and prices on different shoots?
Yes. Proofing is controlled per gallery alongside your title, cover image, download switches and passwords. You can set studio defaults to prefill your usual max picks and extra pricing, then override those numbers on any individual gallery.
What counts toward the 2 GB free and 100 GB Pro storage limits?
Only the original files you upload count toward your storage limit. The 2000 px previews, thumbnails and the ZIP files your clients download do not use any of your storage, and there is no cap on the number of galleries or photos you can upload within your space.
